May all beings everywhere achieve patience effortlessly
Be kind in your processes today Despite the fast pace commercialism sets for us, we can remain calm and peaceful in every stride. Remember with compassion, that some of us are going through a holiday with loved ones now in non-physical energy, the holiday season is often a hard reminder of a loss. We see you, they see you. Pour a glass for them, make a plate, honor them how you feel called. They will be with you in every moment. I promise. These humans who have experienced loss may be in a daze, wondering how they will get through this day today, let alone tomorrow. You will, I promise. Please remember with empathy, as you you fill up your grocery carts, that the human going slow in aisle 8 may be trying to figure out if one can of gravy is cheaper then the other or if they can afford the cranberry sauce this year. Maybe you've been in their position, maybe you've helped someone in their position, or maybe your blessed to never have to worry about the 58cent difference of a canned vegetable. Hold the door for your elders, carry their weight for a moment, be the hand that helps them down, or in, or out. Recognize your sober friends, and your newly sober friends - make them a cocktail and congratulate them on continuing to maintain a High vibration by setting down the alcohol and fill their cup with love. Practice patience, and kindness in all aisles, not just aisle 8. Patience. Compassion. Empathy. Kindness... your turkey day appetizer. Much love and gratitude for all that is and continues to be. May all beings feel loved, safe and calm this holiday season, effortlessly surrendering to expectations in order to be appreciative in every moment. We can do this, I promise. Xoxo, Hannah Banana

Sometimes, we have everything we need but we cannot locate it because we are not in vibrational alignment. And other times, you just don't have that tool and you need to order it online through amazon and wait 8 days. I love this process and the progress. Yesterday we ordered the awning that will be installed to the box to cover both the interior and exterior doors of the box. VERY exciting to see this project concluded. We needed a tape measurer - so Papa Frank brought us one and then I proceeded to find three more throughout the day! We also decided that we will be revamping the displays in the store. I have been using anything that tickles my fancy and fits in the spot but as we grow and define the vision, some things just become so clear! So shelves - shelves shelves shelves! Custom made shelving is in the works! Over the weekend, we were blessed to visit Kenneth Greatbatch's studio just around the corner from The Banana Box in West Swanzey and we stepped into his creative world! WOW! Talk about inspiring... Greatbatch is what’s called a “woodturner”; he carefully crafts bowls, vases, ornaments and other items from the various types of trees in our region. We even brought in some of his work to The Banana Box! Wood shavings everywhere, the sweet smell of hard work and life dedication was so present through out. It was really a blessing to be in this space! Woodturning is a form of woodworking that is used to create wooden objects on a lathe. Woodturning differs from other woodworking crafts because the wood is moving, like clay, while the artist uses a stationary tool to sculpt it. Greatbach says that his jobs is to make the beautiful out of the mundane, which can be difficult as wood can be an uncompromising medium. You can shop Kenny's wood turned bowls, jewelry, ornaments and more at The Banana Box! Our hours this week are shifted just ever so slightly as we gather in celebration of gratitude.
I will be at the studio creating each day - if the door is open, swing on through! Because we are closed Thursday, I am scheduling a few hours on Sunday to be committed to being open and present for you! Scheduled Hours this week: Thursday - CLOSED Friday & Saturday - 10-4pm Sunday 11-2 I look forward to seeing you! Much love, Hannah Banana Yesterday was a beautiful day! I just wanted to share and write about it with you. Every day is a new adventure for me and this Banana Box Journey! I am excited to document and write about the progress and process. Thank you so much for being here and taking a moment of your experience to hear about mine. Yesterday, we received much needed rain. And not just a little - it rained ALL day and is continuing to do so now. There have been brush fires and dry wells in the area - so this is a much welcomed blessing. I began a creative project in the box after a long brainstorming session. I have rearranged things a wee bit - figuring out what works best with the lighting and brain storming what is needed to improve. I picked everything up and put it down in a different spot at least once! I am going to be transforming part of the co-op shop into a forest wonderland theme and featuring some beautiful holiday items like handmade ornaments and decor. We should have everything in and up by next week to create a beautiful holiday shopping experience in The Banana Box. Think - moss, birch, white & gold, woodland animals and more! Mushroom theme for the win :) I was also blessed yesterday to meet another local artist who saw my article in ELF Magazine recently. It was an honor to host her for a chat in my space and discuss the vision for the Banana Box as well as what we may need donated for supplies. Jackie Griswold is a mixed media collage artist from Troy, NH and she has invited me to visit her studio space in the near future. How delightful - right?! I look forward to learning more about Jackie and her work as well as seeing her creation station. It can be so inspiring to see what other creators have done with their space. The experience felt confirming for me. It was a beautiful way to connect with someone and discuss artistic expression and the need for community space to create. Thank you for reading and tuning into this blog. It feels really comfortable to have a place to save moments of this journey because I know in 6 months time, when I look back on these posts I will be grateful to remember what it was like at the beginning stages of this project. Swing by during our open hours and see what's been transformed in the box! Open Today! Swing by The Banana Box today and see what's being created!

Do you believe in the power of your thoughts? According to the popular saying, "thoughts become things", your thoughts have the remarkable ability to shape your reality. By focusing on positive thoughts and visualizing success, you are more likely to achieve your goals. On the other hand, negative thoughts and self-doubt can lead to failure and disappointment. But it's not just about positive thinking. It's about consciously directing your thoughts towards positive outcomes, which will then influence your emotions and actions. By aligning your thoughts with your desired outcomes, you can create a more positive and productive mindset that will help you overcome obstacles and achieve success. So if you want to manifest your desires into reality, start by changing your thoughts. Don't let negative thinking and self-doubt hold you back. Instead, focus on positive thoughts and visualize your success. With the power of your thoughts, you can overcome any obstacle and achieve your goals. I am so honored and thankful for this opportunity to bring creativity directly to my community.
Huge shout out to all the incredible humans who believe in this vision of mine and are allowing me the space to expand & empower others. Words will never exhibit the gratitude I have - so quick, hold my paint brush! As we approach mid-November, almost 8 weeks into this journey, I am happy to say that we have established a good system for keeping warmth in the box! Our new interior door was installed over the weekend allowing us to have the large container door open while still maintaining warmth and security.
I am so thankful for all humans involved in helping us with The Banana Box! Special shout out to Marty, Steven and Uncle Bobby for assisting with the most recent projects and a BIG shout out Carlisle Flooring for donating some discontinued hardwood floors to The Banana Box. We still have many things to do but I am proud of the progress we have made. Come see it for yourself! The Banana Box is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-4pm at 627 West Swanzey Rd West Swanzey, NH |
