Reflections, changes & new directions!

 Aloha beautiful being!

Thanks for stumbling upon my blog. This is currently an under-utilized way to express myself and document my process.  My goal is to change that.

As 2025 comes to an end, and 2026 is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting on what transpired this year - what challenges or triumphs arose, the great losses I experienced, the big highs and the deep lows.

And this process is deeply helping me manifest what I would like my future, beginning in 2026 to look like.

I want to spend more time processing. Less time reacting.

I want to create to simply create - not to film a video or grow my youtube, or get reactions and likes. I put a massive amount of time and energy into producing social media content and the return via monetization is currently not worth it.

My process of filming every single thing or creating art just to be filmed has resulted in a HUGE PILE of artwork that I don't know what to do with. I can only give away, throw away, and keep so much... because I know that the amount I have the potential to create is limitless. The piles are never going to stop building. But my stats, my reach, my visibility in the social media world will undoubtfully suffer but taking a step back. That's how they get cha, I think.

So I guess I want to take some time organizing, revamping my equipment - reconfiguring my flow. If I take the time to properly process, edit and organize the content I have already made I could probably keep all of my social media platforms going with content you haven't seen before.

And I guess this blog goes in alignment with that.

Perhaps my thoughts, feelings, and vulnerability shouldn't be so easily accessible because there are days when it doesn't feel like a blessing - where it isn't a gift or something to be admired - it feels like a curse, a disadvantage and a weakness.

I guess that is all for now. I won't take the time to edit this properly - I think it will change the organic flow of what it is.

the catbird
sings songs
in my ear
sends tickles
down my spine
Releasing all my fears

it's been lifetimes
lifetimes
lifetimes
and

The grandness of it all
cannot be measured in years
it has stretched through
lifetimes
life times
and life lines
my dear

it is delightful
how this sound
is intertwined
with my soul
synchronizing rhythms
and the
sacredness of flow

an agreement
a soul tie
a life time
a life line

The catbird doesn't always sings in 4/4 time.

OM Mani Padme Hum:

"Om Mani Padme Hum" is a six-syllable mantra in Tibetan Buddhism, often translated as "Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus" or "The jewel is in the lotus". It is a powerful and well-loved mantra believed to embody the essence of compassion and enlightenment. Each syllable is believed to represent a specific aspect of the path to enlightenment.

Here's a breakdown of the syllables and their significance:

Om:
Represents the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, symbolizing the purity and perfection of the enlightened state.

Mani:
Means "jewel" and symbolizes the method, or the altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassionate, and loving.

Padme:
Means "lotus" and symbolizes wisdom, the understanding of the nature of reality.

Hum:
Represents the union of method and wisdom, and the ultimate goal of enlightenment.

Sticky icky stickers!

There are so many exciting things going on I can't even keep up with updating between social media platforms and my website - it is straight BANANAS!

Picture

I have had my hands and feed planted in the Print Department of the Makerspace. Trying new things, making RAPID art and making new friends a long the way. Here is my first time using letter block prints - I learned along the way that I was missing a pretty important step but proceeded with the print as is and the results are pretty cool!

I also spent time getting to know the sticker maker available at the Makerspace. Sticker sets coming to the website soon!
